Zamlkawyana started as a simple idea: write down what early-stage founders actually need to know, in plain language, and share it openly. This blog is the informal side of that work. Where our Insights section collects structured guides on funding, hiring and operations, this space is for reflection: what we notice while reading about startups, talking with people who build them, and watching the New York ecosystem change.

Why blog at all?

Writing forces clarity. A founder who can explain their pricing model or fundraising plan in a few clear paragraphs usually understands it better than one who keeps it in their head. The same applies to us. Blogging is how we test ideas before they become longer playbooks, and how we keep track of the questions readers keep asking: When is the right time to raise a pre-seed round? How do you know whether a market is big enough? What should go into a first investor update?

What you will find here

How we approach it

We are an independent studio, not a fund, accelerator or official body, and nothing here is legal, tax or investment advice. For decisions with real financial or legal consequences, talk to a qualified professional. What we offer is context: ways of thinking through a problem so your conversations with lawyers, accountants and investors are sharper.

If a post sparks a question, or you would like us to cover a topic, we would be glad to hear from you through the contact page. Good blogs are conversations, and the best ideas here have often come from readers.
